Extend Grace, Encourage Growth, Expect Greatness
A safe, empowering space along your psychological assessment or therapeutic journey
SM
Seeking help for oneself can be challenging. That’s why I provide a strengths-based, calming, caring, supportive atmosphere that allows people to engage in the therapeutic or assessment process from a place of acceptance, peace, and clarity. I want clients to feel understood and valued for who they are, even if they have made life choices that did not have the most positive outcome. I also believe that by extending grace to clients (and helping them extend grace to themselves), everyone can grow and develop if given the tools and willing to adjust their behavioral patterns, and together, we can expect greatness (not perfection). I am committed to helping my clients live a life that gives them a sense of pride and assurance that who they are is all they need to be!

Through a lens of social justice and equity, I focus on affirming experiences for all people, specifically emphasizing people of color and other marginalized identities. I also unpack the impact of power, privilege, and structural oppression and deconstruct challenges related to acculturation or first-generation challenges. Additionally, I provide skill building in the five core competency areas of social and emotional learning: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
